Take a look back at ECTS 2018

One week after the close of ECTS 2018, we would like to thank you once more for your active participation and for making this year’s congress a huge success!

We  would like to take this opportunity to look back at some highlights of ECTS 2018.

 

Support for Outstanding Scientific Work

We are proud to have received numerous outstanding scientific abstracts that were rewarded with a number of grants and awards. All in all, 35 participants were supported with ECTS and IFMRS travel grants and 7 honored with an award.

Thanks also to the ECTS-Lilly Scholarship and ECTS Academy, we were able to provide financial support to 45 young researchers and MDs to attend the congress.

We are looking forward to much more impressive scientific work in the next year.

ECTS Congress Mobile App now available

The congress App for the upcoming ECTS Congress in Valencia is now available for download.  The congress app gives you an overview of the scientific programme, access to all presented abstracts, maps of the congress venue and information about the exhibition, industry satellite symposia and much more.

Use the congress app for live interaction during sessions, create your own congress itinerary by adding your favorite sessions and presentations to your personal planner.

To download the App, please search for ‘ECTS’ in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. This will give you access to the ECTS Society App and ECTS 2018 Congress App.

Submit your research to ECTS 2018

The deadline for abstract submission to ECTS 2018 in Valencia is 12 February. Don’t miss your chance to present your research at Europe’s leading congress in the musculoskeletal field, uniting both clinicians and basic scientists in their common quest for scientific excellence.

  • ECTS-Mellanby-SEIOMM Training Course on Vertebral Fractures: the renowned Mellanby Center for Bone research at the University of Sheffield will provide you with this highly educational and interactive workshop on the clinical identification and management of vertebral fractures. This day-long course is open to clinicians,laboratory scientists and nurses involved in the clinical management of patients at risk of osteoporotic fractures.
  • ECTS-ICCBH Rare Bone Diseases Workshop: a unique collaboration to discuss “Pathophysiology, Minifestations and Treatment of From Childhood to Adulthood” in rare bone diseases. The programme will review disorders of bone mineralization and bone fragility.
  • East-Meets-West Programme where opinion leaders from the West and East part of the world will discuss Concepts for case finding in osteoporosis.
    You can then join a Meet-the-Professor session discussing uncommon cases of bone diseases.

Registration and abstract submission now open

We are pleased to inform you that the abstract submission and registration for ECTS 2018 in Valencia (Spain) are now open.

With an international delegation of clinicians and basic scientists, ECTS Congress is the meeting where great science, collaboration and research across the musculoskeletal field come together.  By submitting an abstract you can become an active part of the congress and have the opportunity to share and discuss your work with other experts in the field.
